How did y'all spend your Easter? We went to a drive-in church; an old drive-in movie theater, with a minister on a lift. If you look closely at the first picture, you can see him. We had to tune in to a certain radio station to hear him. If the minister made a point someone agreed on, they honked. At times it was deafening! Definitely a unique experience.
We went with a very sweet old couple whom we have adopted as our family:
Then, we had a very scrumptious lunch together:
Grape kombucha:
Delicious hamburger soup and Texas Toast:
Angel food cake with whipped topping and strawberries:
We also had yummy tapioca but I didn't get a picture of that. ☹️
Then, we had an Easter egg hunt:
So, how did you celebrate Jesus' resurrection under lock-down?
A year ago, none of us even imagined that in a year, we'd be wearing masks to get groceries, having school through Zoom, or going to drive-in churches! Who is going stir-crazy?! 🖐️🖐️ I am!
Note: The kids in the pictures are my younger brother and sisters.
I had such a good time with you guys! 🥰 I’m so happy the shutdown didn’t shut down or change the Resurrection 💐Praise the Lord!
ReplyDeletePraise the Lord!!!!! I had a wonderful time with you :)
ReplyDeleteWow! Sounds like a great time! :) :) We like the picture of the sweet "old" couple! :) :) :)
ReplyDeleteWow! Fun!!! We had a church service online. We played and had fun. Thank you Lord!
ReplyDelete(your sibling are so cute!!!)
Yup, I think they're cute, too! Sounds like you had fun, too!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a good service, even if it wasn't the usual. We watched a service online since our church doesn't have wi-fi, social media, or anything like that. We still enjoyed it, though. Your siblings are so cute!
